Meditation is a growing practice open to anyone and is now recognised by medical researchers as beneficial to your physical and psychological well-being.Meditation has now become a socially acceptable method of personal development and spiritual growth and meditation groups are a popular way to enhance your ability to go within yourself and connect with your thoughts and feelings on a deeper level.
Controlled conscious thoughts can be supportive in keeping ourselves relaxed calm and balanced.Our uncontrolled conscious thoughts can have a negative impact on our overall well-being; using meditation can bring your focus away from the uncontrolled thoughts and allow yourself the time and reflection needed to find a space within yourself where you can simply ‘be’ allowing you to find an increased feeling of inner-peace and tranquillity.
I teach meditation on a one to one basis or in a small group, I also find that using crystals as part of meditation practices is extremely beneficial as it provides people with something to ‘focus’ on during their meditative state. During meditation, you can hold a certain type of crystal and use it as you meditate in order to ‘ground’ you during times of chaos and to restore peaceful thoughts and feelings.
Initially meditation can be difficult, particularly for those with a very active and busy mind. However, by introducing crystals into your meditation supports your visualisation and enables you to maintain the level of focus needed for successful and beneficial meditation.
Similarly, using crystals as part of meditation practices not only helps you connect with the process of meditation but also supports and strengthens the connection with the chosen crystal you are using for healing; therefore providing more benefits and power to be gained from the crystal and it’s healing properties as well as the peace and tranquillity that meditation provides you with.
